01 Overview & Scope

Omnix Ai ("the App"), developed and published by PlanetOrb ("we", "us", or "our"), is a mobile AI Video Management System (VMS) and ONVIF/RTSP security camera viewer. We engineered Omnix Ai on a strict Private-by-Design architecture: your surveillance cameras, NVR credentials, and live video streams belong exclusively to you.

02 Information We Do Not Collect

  • No Cloud Relay of Live Video Feeds: Omnix Ai connects directly to your IP cameras, NVRs, and DVRs (such as Hikvision, Dahua, CP Plus, Amcrest, Helix, Amlink, and standard ONVIF/RTSP devices) over your local network or configured remote endpoint. We do not record, view, or store your camera video streams on PlanetOrb servers.
  • No Server-Side Storage of Camera Passwords: Your camera usernames, RTSP URLs, and ONVIF passwords are encrypted locally on your device inside an AES-256-GCM cryptographic vault backed by your phone's hardware keystore.
  • No Advertising Trackers or Data Brokers: Omnix Ai contains zero third-party ad networks and never sells or shares personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

03 Information Stored Locally on Your Device

To operate as a security control room on your smartphone, Omnix Ai stores the following data locally in your device's sandboxed storage:

  • Encrypted Camera Vault: Camera IP addresses, RTSP ports, ONVIF profiles (S, G, T), usernames, and passwords sealed with AES-256-GCM encryption.
  • On-Device AI Index & Event Snapshots: Bounding-box metadata (Person, Vehicle, Motion detections and timestamps) generated by on-device AI models so you can search your footage using natural language.
  • Exported Video Clips & Snapshots: Only when you explicitly tap to save a snapshot or export a playback clip, that file is written to your device's local photo/video gallery.

04 Android & iOS Permissions Disclosure (Google Play Policy)

Omnix Ai requests only the minimum operating system permissions required to discover, stream, and secure your cameras:

INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE Connects to RTSP video streams and ONVIF camera endpoints over Wi-Fi or mobile data. Direct device-to-camera communication.
ACCESS_WIFI_STATE / CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE Enables the ONVIF Auto-Discovery radar (WS-Discovery multicast) to find cameras on your local LAN. Local LAN scan only; never leaves your network.
USE_BIOMETRIC / USE_FINGERPRINT Enforces biometric App Lock before unlocking your AES-256-GCM camera credential vault. Handled 100% by Android/iOS OS BiometricPrompt; we never access raw biometric data.
READ/WRITE_MEDIA (Photos & Videos) Used strictly when you manually export a recorded NVR clip or save a live camera snapshot to your phone gallery. User-initiated local gallery save only.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS / FOREGROUND_SERVICE Delivers real-time motion, person, vehicle, and camera health/offline alerts while monitoring active streams. Local alert notifications on your device.

05 Optional Diagnostics & Support Communications

If you contact our engineering team via email at [email protected] or through our Contact Page, we receive your name, email address, and the message details you choose to provide solely to resolve your support or enterprise inquiry.

06 Cryptographic Security Measures

  • AES-256-GCM Vault: Authenticated encryption protects all stored camera credentials at rest.
  • TLS 1.3 & SHA-384: Encrypted transport and message integrity verification for secure connections.
  • Hardware Biometric App Lock: Prevents unauthorized physical access to your live feeds and camera settings.

07 Data Retention & Instant Data Deletion

Because your camera vault and AI event index reside locally on your device, you retain complete control over data retention and deletion at all times:

  • In-App Vault Wipe: You can delete individual cameras or wipe the entire encrypted vault and event history inside the Omnix Ai app settings at any time.
  • App Uninstallation: Uninstalling Omnix Ai from your device permanently erases the local sandboxed database and AES-256-GCM vault keys.
  • Support & Account Data Deletion Requests: Visit our dedicated Data Safety & Deletion Page or email [email protected] to request immediate deletion of any support records.

08 Children's Privacy & International Compliance (GDPR / CCPA / DPDP)

Omnix Ai is a security utility intended for adult property owners, system integrators, and enterprise operators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). Users globally—including under the EU GDPR, California CCPA/CPRA, and India Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act—have the right to access, rectify, or erase any personal data held by contacting [email protected].
