01 Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Omnix Ai mobile application ("the App") or accessing https://omnix.planetorb.in/, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and End-User License Agreement ("Terms") between you and PlanetOrb ("we", "us", or "our"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App.
02 License Grant & Restrictions
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, PlanetOrb grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use Omnix Ai on Android or iOS devices that you own or control for personal or authorized commercial security monitoring.
- Prohibited Actions: You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or attempt to extract the source code or neural AI weights of the App except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Intellectual Property: All rights, title, and interest in and to Omnix Ai, its user interface, on-device AI engines, and trademarks belong exclusively to PlanetOrb.
03 Lawful Surveillance & Camera Authorization
Omnix Ai is a Video Management System (VMS) utility designed to connect to IP cameras, NVRs, and DVRs via ONVIF and RTSP protocols. You represent and warrant that:
- Authorized Access Only: You will only connect Omnix Ai to cameras, recorders, and networks that you own or have explicit legal authorization to monitor and control.
- Compliance with Local Privacy & CCTV Laws: You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing video surveillance, audio recording, signage, and data retention in your jurisdiction.
04 Security Vault & User Responsibility
Omnix Ai encrypts your camera credentials locally using an AES-256-GCM cryptographic vault and supports hardware biometric App Lock. Because PlanetOrb does not store a backup of your camera passwords on our servers, you are responsible for maintaining access to your device and camera admin credentials.
05 On-Device AI & Life-Safety Disclaimer
Omnix Ai provides real-time computer vision detections (such as Person, Vehicle, and Motion alerts) and camera health telemetry as an assistive monitoring tool. Omnix Ai is not a certified life-safety, fire-alarm, or emergency-dispatch system.
Detection accuracy depends on camera placement, lighting, network stability, and stream resolution. PlanetOrb does not guarantee that every intrusion, motion event, or hardware failure will be detected or notified without interruption.
06 Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLANETORB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (INCLUDING PROPERTY LOSS, UNAUTHORIZED INTRUSION, OR DATA LOSS) ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.
07 Google Play Store Additional Terms
When you download Omnix Ai from the Google Play Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are concluded between you and PlanetOrb only, and not with Google LLC. Google LLC has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the App, and your use of the App must also comply with the Google Play Terms of Service.
